Title: ZIM to HTML converter
Post by: OS923 on January 31, 2017, 05:45:43 AM
My newest program ZimConverter can download a list of URLs from Kiwix running as a server, and save it as a website with images and working links.

Kiwix can display ZIM files, which are databases of compressed files like HTML pages. Popular ZIM files are Wikipedia and Wiktionary.

ZimConverter also simplifies the pages. They are about 30% of the size of the original Wikipedia pages. There's an option to even further simplify the pages by deleting all style information so that the pages can be viewed on Palm OS.

I created such a website with more than 43000 Wikipedia pages. Now I'm creating the same website for Palm OS.
