Hallo, I'm trying to resurrect 2 of my old DAW with Sonic Solutions - I have an SSP3 Pci perfectly working on a PPC9600/233 OS9.0.1 - Sonic Studio 5.3.1 - But I need a more recent version 5.3.2. or 5.4b10 for PCI USP ( it's the latest version 66mhz 96kHz capable version). Anyone with those Installers? thanks. fdc

Finally after 3 days of restoring all my old DLT Tapes - I've found all the versions from 5.2.1 to 5.4b10.
In case someone interested I can upload here. Otherwise administrator can even consider to close this topic. Thanks.

I'll 'second' that! ;D ;D

SonicStudio? 5.2.1.img
will it work on its own or does it require hardware?
what versions of sonicstudio run on mac os 9? what hardware is required?

Do you want to start collecting these? Well, you better don't.
No plug-ins.
No VST
No ASIO
No Sound Manager
No USB
No FireWire
Custom interfaces and their connection protocol
Hardware based
Proprietary audio file system
Buggy.
Key file based licensing tied to board serial numbers and purchased software options.
No cracks.
De-facto industry standard system for CD mastering at the turn of the century, the other one being Sadie on Windows.
OS9 based follow-up of SSP and USP NuBus and PCI from Sonic Solutions.
Predecessor to PremasterCD and soundBlade on OSX. Still in use by some even today. Expensive in its day.
I had a two board system. Sold it at the right time.

If you can find working system that has valid key files and suits your budget, why not.
See my responses here: http://macos9lives.com/smforum/index.php?topic=5332
(I do have several NuBus and PCI systems, but I'm not going to offload those for a tenner ;) )

I doubt there will be any. A picture here and there, mostly from online auctions, but that's about it.
(Mastering engineers/sound editors usually don't make scans of their computer cards).

do you own a scanner and are willing to be the first in history?
