Vibra 9000 is hands down my favorite OS9 synth. Used it all over Dreaming. In fact, Dreaming is about 90% Vibra 9000.
Happy Easter!

Yes. I remember being impressed when I run for the first time the Vibra9000 synth. That was from the time I had my first mac running still OS 8.6 (iMac G3) but i never got to use it actually. I remember it was standalone and so I just got away with using VST instruments plugins from within Cubase.
I just tried the presets and didn't get to programm anything.
But I have it on my to do list to reactivate this iMac just for running the Vibrasynth and the AKAI S5000 editor.

the cubase implementation was not my thing, i kind of had it only half working. (i think my first vibra was a prerelease  version and ha donly rewire or something? cant remember.
i started actually using vibra like 8 years later in max/msp via the VST adapter. of course it remains problematic that it still uses OMS this way. :)

I'm looking to load up a G4 with some VST plugs, which I usually never ever use.
Is the best drum program Battery?
What's the best all around VA synth?
Anything I else that I should grab?

it looks like its describing your hardware setup.. similar to OMS?
being that it is a digital performer screen shot..
is that FREEMIDI? or unisyn? or another motu product?
im guessing its freemidi? ive never actually bothered to install it! ;)
used to using OMS
