Since stepping back 15 years I've depleted my old stash of blank CDs.  I haven't had any major problems with burning CDs (I do most of my downloading and burning on a 2014 Mac Mini with a thunderbolt CD/DVD burner attached using Toast).

I want to buy a spindle of CDs that offer the absolute best compatibility and quality.

What diks do you guys use?

 Thanks all, Steve.

if you are using an old DVD drive.. i would try to buy DVD-R or CD-R media
rather then DVD+R or DVD+RW media (they are different types)

I ended up going for Verbatim disks, so far no coasters after about 10 CDs!
