I just bought a Microtek Scanmaker v301 SCSI and it didn't come with a CD. I know that it should work somehow, because I had the same model when i was a teenager running on mac os 8.6. But now I can't find the right software for it.
Microtek has some software called Scanwizard that was available, but I'm not sure if you need a certain version for each scanner. That's what it seems like. But I can only find it for Windows while using google. :(
the Macintosh Garden has version 3 available for download. It doesn't detect my scanner. Maybe the scanner is broken, it was from ebay. The light comes on when is powers on.

I just found out about VueScan. I'm going to check that out as an option. Any other universal scan drivers/programs that I should be aware of, that any of you know?
EDIT: VueScan can't see my scanner either. And i can't see it in system profiler either. I guess it must be broken?
