Hi all, my G4 still hasn't arrived yet, which has given me time to mull over which DAW I would like to use. DP3 seems like its the right one for me, especially with an 828mk2 to pair with it, but I wanted to know how your experience of the software has been? Have there been any major showstoppers/bugs that were left behind in 3.11? Are crashes something to be concerned about etc?
Interested to know your experiences
Thanks
Will

Although I haven't used it much in the past couple years, I've run DP 3.11 for many years and found it to be very stable on G4 Quicksilver with my Motu 1224. I don't recall encountering any showstopping bugs or major issues. As always, YMMV, but it's been very solid for me, and runs great on a Quicksilver dual processor.

i have the CD of 2.7 would that be of help to you?

we have 2.7, 3.11 and 4 in the download server.
i´ve added the older versions for no particular reason, because, in regards to the OP´s question, the number of (former and active) DP users around here tends to zero - so we do not have any expertise in "best practice" with it.
the older versions are more or less only a file backup for legit owners who already use that version and do not want to change.
if i was you i would always start the latest version of something and see if that works for you - and only go back to something older when you find a specific reason.

do you have earlier versions -ANY-? 1.0 onwards?
