Title: PCI Sil3114 SATA card

Hello

Ordered a PCI Sil3112 card on Ebay this week....received tha package today, openeed it and to my surprise it is a 4-port Sil3114 based card instead of the Sil3112 2-port card I ordered...

Haven't found any info if this card would also work on MacOS 9 or not...

Guess I'm screwed with those cards (o;

None of them will work out of the box, if both are PC cards.

Hmm...but what is actually changed in the reflashing of those 3112 cards to make them compatible?
