It's a good Overdrive/Distortion effect, if my memory serves. Even though I usually prefer Steinberg Warp.

As it was a hardware relatively easy to emulate, Steinberg did the Plug Version of it

Probably, quadrafuzz is a plug that try to give you the sound of the original hardware.

I can't say if it sound like the original, as I never heard a original hardware quadrafuzz.

Do you have an installer for Warp, MacTron? It seems impossible to find. Thanks!

there doesnt seem to be a TDM version but a VST version existed for mac os 9

ftp.steinberg.net/Archives/VSTfx_QuadraFuzz

i am having troubles extracting it, does it work for anyone else.

does one need a dongle for it? if so is it for sale? im paying serious money for a dongle of quadrafuzz

no dongle, CD protection.

we have the protection-free version here, but finding a legit one can get difficult; it was not exactly a bestseller.

same with plex and model-e ... OSX is freeware, but for OS9 nobody has one for you, even if you offer money.

im downloading the original cd from archive.org as we speak.

about the K, does it work with 32 lives + patchwork? i got both but no access to an intel mac anymore since i sold my maxed out 5,1 in a rage about what apple has become (was apple only since 1993 :D) can anyone test this for me please.

found the iso image of quadrafuzz on archive.org its hybrid

basic question: this old 1998 vsts they should run on the latest G5 shouldnt they?

no, it is OS9 only. OSX requires at least "carbon" builds.

in OSX, quadrafuzz came already free with cubase SX.

thats good so i can keep figuring out my os9 setup

tried dp2.7 cause it can talk to my future mix core card (1 week to go)
is there a cracked logic version that can talk to tdm cards. epic tdm? because tbh logic i already used so the learning curve is better
