Sooo... I was going to reformat and install 9.2.2 on a G4 1Ghz Ti Powerbook (currently OSX only) and planning on using DieHard's 'Drag Install'...
DieHard's states ..." All G3s and G4s can have 9.2.2 installed in minutes by this method... Power Mac, iBook, iMac, or Powerbook."
As far as I'm concerned, if DieHard says that pigs can fly, then I'm heading to the 'Farm Center' to pick up a 'Flight Saddle'!... however... since there is a 'Special' version of 9.2.2 posted here, seemingly specific to this computer...

Is it recommended to use the 'Special' version instead of the 'Drag Install' or does the 'Drag Install' now encompass the 'special' version??

You can pick some Powerbook specific control panels and extension from the Ti install, but the DieHard's "Drag Install" is way better.

thanks MacTron... that's what I was looking for! ;D

Ooops!... turns out the MacBook isn't what I initially thought... it's an Al OS X model! Do you think the 'unsupported' OS 9 will work on this 1Ghz G4 PowerBook 5.1 model??
