is there no way to do this?
how is it that "drive setup" can create a partitioned drive....
but wont let me format just one of the partitions?
this is driving me nuts..

If you have used drive setup to partition the drive then it should already be formatted for macos9 - should it not? Or what are trying to format it for? Windows, macosX?

yes but after that .. to erase the partition + all files on it... there is no way that i can see, to format a partition, it only lets u reformat all partitions on the drive at once.. ie repartitioning.. which would kill whats on the first partition aswell.

Tried highlighting the drive by clicking it once, and then choose "Erase disk" from the "Special" menu?
