Title: old XS Key + software upload

1.
i know there is a way to enter codes into your XS key in order to enable certain licenses for plugins etc. I was wondering if we could setup a form and share these unlock keys for everyone to enter these to their own XS keys so that we can take full advantage of our old abandon ware.

2.
I would love to share some of my emagic software here, is there a good place to upload them?

please let me know, its my 1st time here. thanks

XS Key servers were shut down a few years ago... and thus there is no Server to Activate and give out new keys for plugins... thus there is no way (that we know of) to emulate a Real XS Key server and share or activate a license

it is not possible
nor will it ever be possible again

all xskeys are frozen in time in their current state
they are not able to be upgraded
the only option u have is to buy another xskey that has authorizations pre-existing

u (or anyone for that matter) can no longer do this... even if u were the ceo of apple, u could not do this.

but i have to add that this state of information is about 5 years old, i.e. from around 2009 ... only 3 years after LAP6 support ended.

how is updating the firmware of the xskey going to do anything..
the xskey authorization servers are OFFLINE
NO LONGER IN SERVICE...

the original functionality of being able to add new licenses to an xskey
is no longer able to take place, for anyone, anywhere

What "problem" are you referring to...

I doubt upgrading the firmware will unlock hundreds of dollars of plugins that are currently not authorized on the key ?!
