The best Mac Os 9 Vocoder. Easy to use and very good sound.
NI Vokator is more powerful, and have alot of more options but it can take all of your CPU power by itself! and it don't sounds as good. IMHO.
Akai vocoder may be a good alternative, but Orange sounds better in my opinion.
Waldorf D-Coder is a real good one but needs PowerCore ...

i guess i am not the only one who prefers to use v1.55 because of the sidechain plug-in.

That's a good point. Even Though I prefer the MIDI input of 2.x, I'll update the download with this 1.55 version, just in case someone will prefer it.

the main reasons why i kept the old version when the new one came out was that they were using the same name, but were incompatible with each other. so i renamed the old one and now you can choose. well okay, i usually choose powercore ...
