need an xserve?
here is someone selling an xserve .. err ... well, from 1986.

it is only USD 5000 - and when you buy this, you really belong to the cool kids.
because these machines have never been sold to anyone, apple has cancelled the project and only used them in their own facilities.
of course one can also buy 10 or 15 xserve quad-2.6 xeon for this money, but you will be not as cool.
