Our member dr bu has made an standalone piano app. On post http://macos9lives.com/smforum/index.php?topic=1301.0 (http://macos9lives.com/smforum/index.php?topic=1301.0) he has made the first version of a "Logic  Keyboard" called with Caps Lock or Tab key enabling you to send midi with the apple keyboard.
