just trying to put together a list of all the different options for drums

-ableton live (impulse module) (rewire app)
-Reason (Redrum module)  (rewire app)
-Rebirth v2 (rewire app)

-NI Battery vsti
-Steinberb LM-4 vsti
-Steinberg LM-7 vsti
-halion1 + halion2 samplers
-exs24 sampler

any other drums specialized apps or plugins?
what am i forgetting?

It comes with Intakt and a customized Kompakt Player. It can be used in Mac Os 9 with NI Kompakt and NI Kontakt 1.5 thanks to my famous "kompakt trick".  -afro-
Most of the kits have 8-10 velocity layers with "round robin" snare drums, -some are 24 bits-. Plus the "infinite" modulation and automation capabilities on Kompakt.
You can by example select the "group edit" and apply an automated High Pass filter to the kick drum only!

There isn't any better, in my opinion, of course.  8)

It is on my famous "32Gb Custom Kompakt Library"  -afro-.
 Stormdrum can be downloaded and used alone . Without downloading and installing the whole library.... as any other part of the library...

I had to name it 32Gb (31 really) or "Gold" library to differentiate from the 6Gb "older one" called "Silver".

what other apps in mac os 9
allow u to slice+chop drum loops?
like in the manner of recycle + reason's DR REX player..?

does halion let u  do this? can u load rex files with halion?
what about kontakt??
exs24?

i guess i shuld just shut up and try storm drum;)
