Im getting an error saying:
"An unknown driver is installed for the cd recorder at ATAPI BUS blah blah blah
if you run into problems, please remember to disable the driver next time"
and it wont let me access the cd/dvd or eject it
inside the toast app i can see it says "Toshiba DVD (Not supported)"
should i try with toast 5+? this is on an mdd 1.25ghz (2003)

ok CMD-E still works to eject the cd while toast is open..
but i guess it doesnt support this particular Dvd drive...! strange!
or do i need a specific toshiba extension to support this dvd writer i wonder?
is there a chance my 1.25ghz MDD came stock without a burner? and only a rom?
it says its a "TOSHIBA DVD-ROM SD-R1312"

installed toast 5..
sees the drive fine..!
all is ok;) 8)

Congrats!! ;D
My MDD has two DVD drives, a combo DVD and the Superdrive. Toast only sees the Superdrive which is fine ::) :P

Under OS 9 Applications/extras/eject extras there are 2 small eject apps that will do the upper and lower CDs/DVDs...
You can make an Alias on these and put them on your taskbar, dock, or Desktop (depending what you are using with OS 9)... aslo you can assign a Key like F12 to the app and simply use F12 under OS 9
