Title: Buying a Powerbook
Post by: Syntho on June 07, 2014, 07:22:26 PM
I'm going to pick up a Powerbook G4. It's looking like most of the ones on Ebay need new batteries, ram, and HDs as well. I'd like to get an SSD for it but I'm unsure if there's a device manufactured to fit an SSD inside a powerbook.

Is there anything I should look out for? I wonder if DH has some spare parts laying around...

I think that titanium PB are the last to boot OS9. Maybe some ALU model can, but most are  OS X only.

If it says "For Parts or Not Working" I wouldn't buy it, this means it does not work right. Also if there is not a picture of it on, I wouldn't buy it, the picture of it on would prove it works.
