Title: What now Mr Magoo...
Post by: MacGuy on April 22, 2014, 10:21:29 AM
Now that we're back in the land of nine there are some very simple things i have so forgotten.

For example, those read me files. How do i unlock them to add or reduce the text ?  There used to be some trick but what ? Some of those read me files have pages and pages of not pertinent info that i for example would like to delete and even increase the font size.

you change the filetype to TEXT (if its a simpletextfile) using for example the attached kontextual plugin :)

Ahhh, troubles at this end: the download, after decompressing, gives me a folder named "TypesChangeCM Plugin" but the folder is empty.

However, maybe it's a "Mavericks"/Archiver" joke. Even tried using BetterZip: same results: empty folder.

I'll change the filetype to TEXT as you state: i seem to recall now that that  is what i did in those days.
