Hello all,
My beloved iMacG3 has died and was able to recover the hard drive and test it on my PC. The HDD is still functional and I am able to see and recover my files.
I was wondering would it be possible to make a bootable backup of my HDD on my iMac G3 and use it in a Powerbook G3?
Thanks,
Dan

Almost everything should be able to "just work" on the Powerbook. However, I'd suggest doing a clean install of the same OS version on the PBG3 first, and then copy over everything but the system folder. Finally, start moving system folder contents across, and when a duplicate is found, keep the PowerBook version. This still may not boot on the first try; you may need to hold down space while booting and disable a few extensions that worked on the iMac but cause problems on the PB.
