Powerbook Ti 1GHz PC Cards?

As I never cared about PCMCIA/CardBus/PC Cards, I am kind of newbie regarding such hardware. Please go on and tell me what kind of Type I/II PC Cards are in existance for my 1GHz Ti Powerbook. I read in another thread that booting is sadly unsolved (what would double the "HD"-throughput compared to the IDE bus).

Go on and inspire me. What can be done with such cards? The more useful the better! Please just Mac OS 9 compatible stuff – so for example no no USB 2 cards that work as USB 1

Huh? What booting is unsolved? Off of PCMCI cards or off of something else external, like FW, for example?
