Title: Anyone have eMagic Unitor8 drivers for OS9?
Post by: part12studios on July 25, 2017, 08:57:34 PM
Hi there,

I see a guy selling a eMagic Unitor 8 cheap and thought about getting it for Digital Performer 3.  Seems that any legacy drivers didn't get carried over when I assume apple must have bought the company out.  Anyone have them and know if this hardware will work (it's a usb version) with OS9 and more specifically DP3?  Or really any DAW that's OS9 compatible.

Thanks,
Caleb

IIRC, my drivers where installed with the Logic 6 installer. Never installed stand alone driver for mine. I have a AMT8 though, but they are more or less the same thing. They use the same drivers.

Unitor 8 works with OS 9. There is even setup program for it. I should have installer somewhere..., because I have still have shortcut icon on my desktop to setup program  :)
With Emagic Logic and Sounddiver it works without OMS, but also works with OMS.

good to know.  Sadly the item for sale got away from me, but at least I know now if it comes along again.

Thanks,
