I can't find any info that this card ever came in a Cube...

Have any of you ever seen a "Rage 6" card in a Cube ?

Rage 6 was the original name for 1st Gen Radeon cards.

LEM says it was available as a BTO option and also as an aftermarket upgrade so it was probably just one somebody bought and put in themselves.

That's what I was thinking, but the 630-3600 clearly seems like a genuine apple part#, very weird, no google hits on that part number

OK... this thing is looking quite rare as I cannot find another card with the PN# anywhere...

Yet, this card remains an enigma, I am hoping a cube expert can fill me in on this one... 32MB is pretty decent for a cube

OS 9.2.2 System profiles sees the card as "ATI,Rage6ag"  ROM: 113-73501-119

Rage 6 is the development codename of the first chip released under a Radeon brand - what you have there is an some version of R100 chipset that got released simply as Ati Radeon.

So I am guessing this is the exact card (minus the special cube bracket), layout looks identical, part number just one off...

The cube card is: 109-73500-20

The weird thing is that ATI made (2) different PCB boards that look identical, why not use the exact same card and denote the difference with a white sticker  for the bracket swap...  even the "Rage 6 73501" chip is an exact match... so why 2 different production runs with 2 different etched in parts numbers... weird
