Title: Guitar Emulators that work in OS9 and tools 5.1.3
Post by: RTIInstaller on September 28, 2015, 12:56:32 AM
Line 6
Sans Amp
Amplitube (although I cant get it to work)

Did Waves make a TDM version of GTR that worked with OS9?

Any others I didn't mention?

Thanks1   ::)

Hi,
I think that's it. If you mean "Line 6 AmpFarm" then you are right: this is all you can get on TDM. But Amplitube is online running as a RTAS plug here. It sounds really great but the latency is so high that you cannot use it to record directly. I am using SansAmp and AmpFarm therefore.
By the way: SansAmp has a little bug in OS9, that it mutes the channel when you open a previously recorded session. Workaround: If you click the SansAmp-plugin the channel all of a sudden will be unmuted. Don't know why...

Best,
paule.

Yeah that's easy to deal with but kind of annoying as well! There's other rtas plugs that do that too...  BF LA-2A I think is one... can't recall exactly but I usually try to avoid them if possible. I wind up using the SansAmp RTAS a LOT though so it becomes a matter of coarse to click that one on and off when opening a session.

There MUST be a OS 9 TDM version of SansAmp?? NEED that!! ;D

Yeah I have noticed the same bug with the La2 compressor when used in combination with some other plug ins.

steinberg virtual guitarist? So where on this site is this to be found? A search brings up only this thread

the site can be confusing as theres alot of different sections
i keep trying to stress this to the admins but noones really worried about simplification at this pt
i recently just tried to simplify my own site alot because of how i felt about this sites navigation being way too complicated
http://www.oldschooldaw.com/forums/index.php

its under
member downloads >>>
and then vst instruments
http://macos9lives.com/smforum/index.php?board=53.0

u have to be logged in as a member to click that link

I simply do not know how to do this, if it is just a matter of copying the DAE plugin and uploading that then no problem, if someone chimes in and gives me directions Ill be glad to help.

Creamware Six String, but it need Creamware or Sonic Core DSP-card. And it was possible use with Pro Tools, but you have to do external digital (or analog) routing from DSP-card so I/O version of cards is must (Actually without I/O version is quite rare).
