Title: The well know Groove %^&$/ Logic problem. Anyone fixed it?
Post by: Dave 23 on October 01, 2018, 06:40:22 AM

When opening GA in LAP 6.4.1 the error message appears "cannot find drummer .000"
Apparently this was a known prob back in the day (I actually bought GA but don't remember this..) The solution is to place a simple text file in prefs with
the path to file in question. No success so far- I've tried every possible syntax I can think of. Anyone here managed to get GA working with LAP?
..ahh..the joys of OS9/vst are starting to come back to me now... :)

Ok for anybody encountering the same problem, the solution is to make a simpletext file and name it "Groove Agent location" (without " " )

On the first line enter the file path to your vst plugins folder using  ":"  as separator, like this:

Macintosh HD:Applications:Emagic:Logic 6 series:Vst plugins:Groove agent:    (the last entry should be "Groove Agent:" - not "drummer.000")

Place this in prefs folder and you should be good to go.

(I copy/pasted the file path names from Sherlock to make sure of the correct characters/spellings...)
