Yep! Still got my external SyQuest and Zipdrive in a box somewhere :)

The Magneto Optical stuff was about 20X more reliable than the Zip/Jaz garbage, that we all had to use back then :)

I was considering getting a tape drive for backups recently. Not for any special reason, I just think it's neat.
I've got 4 Jaz drives laying around with one being connected to my sampler permanently. God I hate them...

Some 4mm Tape drives can use old DAT tapes as Backup Tapes. It's the same media :)
