Silver Sparrow comes in two versions—one with a binary in mach-object format compiled for Intel x86_64 processors and the other Mach-O binary for the M1
They didn't bother to compile it for PowerPC. Do they even know we exist?

“Do they even know we exist?” - Daniel
Fine by me if they’ve forgotten us, especially in this particular instance. Silver Sparrow seems to be awaiting further command(s)… whatever those might be. Certainly sales of anti-virus and malware protection packages will increase - but this might also actually hamper sales of the new M1 based Macs. (Wasn’t planning on buying one here anyway.) ;)
All hail the PowerPC! (Not schadenfreude.)

that is when you act like apple acts.
they forbid us users to use java years ago but java is still used in 1337 different locations of their own OS.
-
Damn! 1337 places? Exactly? Do you have a deep undercover inside Apple we don't know about?
-
It's only for x86_64 and M1 Macs. So no problem for us.
But if you need detect it from some one else machine, there is more information:
