what is this bar of metal? for better contact / heat transfer for chipset?

yehaa!!! nice. but i think i am not over clocking my dual 1.42 to 1.66 only 1.5. the cooling will be easier.

From 1.42 to 1.5 is easy. No extra cooling needed nor voltage change...
It's a very good start, even 1.58 isn't hard to achieve. But the real challenge is 1.66.
