Title: Convolution plugin?
Post by: alenu on October 03, 2016, 07:18:38 AM
Is there any vst plugin capable of loading impulse responses? I use LA Convolver in OS X and i'm searching for something similar. I record my Yamaha APX D. I. and then use custom made impulse responses of the same guitar's body to make it sound like it has been mic'ed. It's a nice solution if you've got an untreated room and want to achieve a decent sounding rhythm acoustic guitar sound. It will fit in a busy mix fine. I know there's Altiverb. Will it do the job? Alternatives? Thanks!
