Hello...
I have a old version 1 of Norton utilities for the Mac. What is the latest version of Norton utilities that will run under 9.2.2?
Thanks

Allegedly, 7 but that's supposedly for BOTH 9 and OSX
A safer bet is 6
BTW… #1 Rule of old Macs & Norton: Never, never, NEVER!!! attempt to use Norton on OSX !! It WILL F-up your drive.

Hi,
be carefully with Norton. I have used an older version of Norton Disk Utiliy and it was a big mess: The HD was completely damaged and had to be erased after that experience. Please be careful!!!
Best, paule.

6.0.5 is the latest version. Version 8 for OSX includes version 6.0.5 for OS 9.

I found a solution for an annoyance in Norton Disk Doctor. If you have a program with a BNDL resource but no APPL icons, then it will complain over and over. It changes the Finder flags and next time it will complain again and undo the changes and so on. Just create APPL icons and will stop to complain.

Thanks for that. I will use it on OS 9 only. I use SS drives anyway so I am not going to use most of Norton to mess with my hard drives.
