I was trying to get Nuendo 1.5 up and running to check it out. Cubase 5 runs really well as a VST host but Sound Manager has a terrible 31 milliseconds latency. My Oasys card will give beautiful sound and 4 milliseconds latency. But no matter what the settings Cubase is not stable with the Oasys card.
So I thought I'd try Nuendo 1.5 Does anybody know where the settings are to assign the ASIO driver? There's no menu to be found. Preferences for audio just have a few settings, mostly for files.

it must be in that one-window-for-all preferences, no?
-
Not there.... tried to post photos of menus but it won't let me

it´s not large enough i can hardly see it. ^^

would you mind removing the "._" from the ASIO folder?
-
oh yeah, it is under devices/device setup/VST multitrack/ - no wonder you didnt find it.
-
Yes... thanks. ... it wasn't showing there because the audio was not initializing on launch until I removed that underscore. Then I found it right away. So I will try it. I'm just curious to see. A shame Cubase has such terrible latency under sound manager. Thanks again!

Hmmm....audio now correct but no OMS input to sequencer even though assignments seem functional. Device setup says OMS ports not active. Strange program.

1.52 is more or less a beta. but the look and the haptic of the mixer page is lovely and you have 4 more instrument slots :)
it also was the first host with plug-in info/certification and "preload waves"
