« on: September 03, 2014, 02:54:28 AM »

a corrupted OSX system folder.

is the screen really black? or is there a insert mark. if yes, try typing "/login" to boot into darwin. you should then either get into OSX or at least get an error message.

i would also remove all PCI cards and reset PRAM.
insert arbitrary signature here

First of all, try reinstalling the OS. If that fails, then think about getting a new hdd.
