Hello,
I managed to track down the original CD rom's for the Edirol SD-80, but they've gone missing in the post >:(
The Roland website has drivers for OSX, but the editor is 'vapourware' - vanished into thin air.
Does anyone have an iso of the original editor/driver software CD?
Cheers!

for some reason they radnomly remove some of their older sofware, ame with ua-4fx drivers.
-
maybe Sound Diver can handle the module ?
-
he needs the device driver in order to send 32 channels of midi to the instrument.

I'm after both the OMS driver and the synth editor.
It's a classic case of 'painting the sistine chapel through a letterbox' without it.
I think Roland took the resources down at some point last year.
Annoyingly, all the OS9 drivers are there for the SD-20.

Success!
After trawling the 'WaybackMachine' website, I found out the name of the drivers and editing software.
This led me to a website (which I seem to remember is affiliated with Roland Japan) hosting the SD-80 drivers and editor software.
Crucially, this site includes the editor for OS9.
The site takes a while to load, but it's easy to navigate.

Roland Japan also still hosts drivers, software and manuals, including the OMS and FreeMidi drivers.
The OS9 OMS driver is in Japanese, but installation buttons are easy enough to work out.
Once you've installed the driver and editor, you need to set the MIDI in/out on the editor to SD80 port A.
