Registering MacSFTP
« on: August 10, 2022, 04:41:34 PM »

I recently dlded MacSFTP to my PB 3400c and it seems to do what I need it too but only for a trial period. The registration process from the application is non-working, the sites no longer valid. Anyone know how I can register this or is it just usable for two weeks, then useless?

Any help much appreciated.

Hi,

To find the serial number, you can use the application serialbox.

But if you don't want to wear an eyeband, you can honestly delete the file "System Folder:Preferences:OpenSSH:MacSFTP Prefs" whenever the trial period of the application expires. ;)

Ahaha, I was in a hurry, it turned out that deleting the settings file can reset the license, but does not reset the date. So just a eyeband.  ::)

P.S.

In my experiments, SFTP is very slow -- 3.4 Mbps.
