Firewire pass through
« on: February 07, 2024, 09:37:52 PM »

Are there any Mac emulators running on windows or Linux that will pass through firewire?

All the PPC Macs were firewire devices so somebody must have done it.

Try Emaculation, they specialize in Mac emulation. Here, we usually deal with the actual hardware and bare metal.

If any emulator can do it, though, that would probably have to be QEMU. No idea on how, or if.

Also, PPC Macs predate Firewire, so many of them do not have it. Later ones do, though.

I thought I would give an update.

The only Emulator that allows Firewire pass through is Fusion.

Kind of a disappointment.
