To what? You can use digitranslator to convert it to OMF and open it in Logic, Cubase etc.

Would PT10 be able to convert, and do you have access to an intel Mac?

I deal with them. Send me the file and I will send you a save copy in on the file on PT5 format.

Download them and I will clear the attachment later

You can choose PT 5.0 format or PT 5.1-6.9 format. I choose this last one with enhanced compatibility with PC just in case you try a PT Win setup. Also, you have an LE setup, a 001 IIRC. I would use PT6 to edit and PT5 to mix.

I have to warn you that if Elastic Audio were used, the project would be completely wrong. To use it you have to render it previously on a PT 7.4 + system. Also, Projects since PT7, loose some specs when converting them to a older PT format. Real Time Midi Properties things, for example, have to be "rendered" too if they were used instead of transposing or quantize.

Don't waste CDs. Put an AFP shared folder on your Linux x86 machine with netatalk (?) http://netatalk.sourceforge.net/ (http://netatalk.sourceforge.net/)
ChrisNova is an evangelist of this Netatalk/AFP thing, DieHard used Novell servers, Knezzen uses Xserves... I boot Leopard to have USB2.0 transfer speeds and use Shared folders with my 10.6.8 hack...

Using a USB for transfering just .pts files is not "slow", because those files rarely are bigger than 512 KB. Even using USB 1.0 speeds  on OS9.

Make sure the copy... file has the Audio files folder together to it.

Net drives are not fine for scratch, but are suitable to transfer projects.
