Sub forum for PPC OS X discussion
« on: April 28, 2024, 02:41:21 AM »
Has this idea been brought up before? It'd be nice to have a place here to discuss OS 10 - 10.5, I'm sure there are some knowledgeable and helpful members here that know early OS X just as well as they know OS 9.

That's a big can of worms  ;)
Some very specific OSX topics are discussed here, but that's about it. For everything else there's macrumours.
If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.

We’ve had this question from time to time and the answer is that it is alright to discuss it if you make a thread in “off topic”, since it’s off topic for this site :)

I second that MacRumors PPC is by far the best place. A good number of us are also members there. They will gladly help you with just about anything for Mac OS X PPC (and even Mac OS 9 on occasion).

But yes, we do sometimes talk about OS X here. Such as trying to run OS X inside an emulator hosted on a Mac OS 9 system. :)
