Is there some software for converting one audio file type to another for OS9? Something that can convert SD2, mp3, aiff, wav and so on.
-
I know PEAK does bulk.
-
I remember either Spark or PowerBundle will batch convert and do a bunch of files automatically...
both are downloadable here in the the downloads
-
isnt it possible for more advanced users to do stuff like this with applescript?
-
Spark - best in my opinion.
Soundapp - easy, only support 16 bit
Barbabatch - says 110.
-
I stumbled upon a program called Soundhack. There is still a website for Soundhack up with downloads to some older programs, but the version of Soundhack I got is one I found floating around elsewhere. Soundhack seems to do the trick, but I'll check out the others.

Everybody talks about the the ugly and buggy Peak ... :o
and forget SonicWorx, the best and powerful "non-multitrack" audio editor.

I don't think the Power Bundle works with mp3s!
