I need an FTP account to the site or something. I need to upload some images onto there for the guide.

You can always add photos as a attachment.

No need to have the ftp to post anything with pictures.

Check out the rules GUIDELINES  for inserting Large Images to Posts on our Forum with BBcode http://macos9lives.com/smforum/index.php?topic=835.0

It looks like I've got a small book coming...

"MIDI and Peace" ?? ;D

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

Ok it's done. Over 27,000 characters and 5,000 words.

Feel free to format it in 3-5 posts if it is needed. I will edit those posts at your will until you find them "perfect"

How many pictures will it include?. Just make a post for every picture if you think a "chapter" division can help other users to build a clone of your multiple DAW setup.
I have the latest versions of both Galaxy+ and Vision running on System 7. Plus Logic 3 Platinum, Sound Diver 2 and an older Pro Tools 4.3 install (I boot into OS8.6 for PT5.1 mainly though).

I'm telling you guys... I've had less crashing and faster speeds on a 300mhz System 7 machine than I ever did a G4. I don't use VSTis though, I'm 100% hardware with only the occasional noise gate TDM plug or something.

How far did you take Galaxy+Vision+Logic3+Protools 4.3 in audio track count? Or your setup is a MIDI station for outboard gear?

I have been tracking last Christmas with a Digi001 32 tracks in LE in a 9.2.2 G4 PM GHz dual 7 songs with not a single crash using 5.2 with D-Verbs, RealVerb, some EQ-II and 4 compressors in 128 "realtime".

I'll take care of further editing/formatting. I've got to get some rest. I'll edit it up tomorrow to make it a bit better.
