Title: Installing MacOS 9 on iMac G4 1.25 GHz 17"

Hey! How do I install MacOS 9 on my iMac? (specs in title). I've tried burning a CD and booting from it (unsupported G4 build) but I get a happy mac for a few seconds then a black screen (however screen is still powered on). Any tutorials for this specific model or any fixes would be appreciated. Thanks!
