Title: KUDOS to everyone!
Post by: FdB on March 31, 2019, 12:24:00 PM
Received the following from a relatively new member here and thought I'd share…

“I’m on a few other forums for other interests, but MacOS9Lives is the only one that I visit on a regular basis. There's so much to learn, and the effort that many members put into their posts and the amount of time they'll spend helping others is truly remarkable. MacOS9Lives core members and on-going contributing members have built a great resource, and if it wasn't for MacOS9Lives, I wouldn't have ventured into the world of old Macs at all.”

Hear, hear!

I can agree with a lot of that. This site helps us live the oldschool.

I also agree! Thank you everyone for the great work here, I get so much use from my PBG4s and QuickSilver now (special thanks Fdb, Daniel and darthnVader!) :D

Thanks Greystash. ;)
Personally... I blame  DieHard, GaryN
and the hordes of other *usual suspects here the most!

*The other guilty ones know who they are.

This place is rather fun.

It has active users and active hackers :)

I agree completely with this sentiment.  Folks on this forum have been sharing of their time, expertise, and computer parts in ways that are truly inspiring.  I still feel like I'm new to old Macs, but this group has given me the confidence to build my collection from one G3 iMac to 14 assorted pre-Intel Macs.  That's a good thing, right?  :)
