I prefer the look of the A1048 Apple Keyboard with my iMac G4 rather than the white pro keyboard, and those buttons do work in OS X. But I use this system mostly with OS 9 (It’s the last iMac that can natively boot it) and the volume and eject buttons don’t seem to work. Is there anything I can install to enable this functionality? I realize this keyboard came out after Apple had largely discontinued systems that can natively boot OS 9, but I thought it was worth a shot to see if some sort of workaround exists.
Thanks!

Interestingly enough (or not), we just debated this exact subject recently.
Although we agreed (mostly) that it's something simple, since it does work with certain Apple keyboards, we never resolved it OR got a lot of smart people involved to help, for that matter.

Oh ok, thanks for the reply! I suppose I need to get back out my pro keyboard and figure out how to retrobrite it so it looks as nice as my A1048.
