Title: Bias Peak Pro
Post by: devils_advisor on September 11, 2017, 04:57:26 AM
Just finished uploading Bias Peak Pro 5.2 and 6
5.2 is UB cracked but 6 is Intel crack. If somebody can make the crack work on PPC that would be nice.

Hi devils_advisor,
could you post a link to these uploads please?
I'd definitely like to try these two versions (earlier versions are great tools for sure!)
Thanks in advance

I agree. Uploaded to where? Also, was version 6 Intel only? That would explain it…

Its on our hotline server in the upload folder.  Version 6 is ub but not the crack. Trial version will be installed on powermacs and the crack will work on snow leopard onward.

Thanks for your reply but I still don't get it.
Where can I find that hotline server?
Could you clarify please?
Thank you

I found Peak 3.2 and Deck 3.5 in DAW - Host Applications Downloads, but NOT Peak 6, so I can't check to see if it included BIAS Authorization Manager 2.1.2.

I have a working version of Peak Pro 6.2.0.21985 working on a G4 PPC. The Authorization Manager allows creation of the enabling file X_BIAS Peak Pro 6, which needs to be in Library/Application Support/BIAS/Licenses.

This file may be moved from one hard drive to another, and it will still work, BUT it is computer specific! A working Peak on one computer will NOT work if the hard drive it is on is installed in a different computer. I can run Peak 6 from an external FW hard drive, but only on the single computer that matches the X_BIAS Peak Pro 6 file.

The X_BIAS Peak Pro 6 file is easily readable by TextWrangler. It seems to contain an encrypted version of a serial number, an e-mail address and machine identifier.

Kracking the Authorization Manager rather than the Peak application may be another approach that would work. I do wish I could move the license to a different computer.

Nothing wrong with that!(except that I get a file overlimit error so I can't download it )
I just used to have bias peak 4 and I liked it, never tried another version tbh so I thought I should track ver4..

"Peak 6 is optimised for Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) and for machines using Intel processors, but being 'Universal', runs just as happily on G5s or even earlier G4s, albeit less briskly," I can't imagine this running in OS9

Peak 4 required OSX 10.2, so the last available for OS 9 was vers. 3.2

Thanks Gary!Appreciate it!
I'll be running this on a G5 with 10.4 so no OS9 compatibility needed.
I'll try 3.2 on my OS9 rig though..

I know this shouldn't be here but anybody know why I can't download anything from the adrive site?
I get a file overlimit error; enable javascript.I tried chrome as well as safe mode mozilla..

this shouldn't be here either, take out a 60 day trial period at adrive, this circumvents the downloading problem, if you would like to continue with adrive thereafter it is $2.50 a month. this i what I did to get a few bits and pieces.

You could of course wait for one of the gurus here to sort the present non downloading misery, or even wait for the answer to the question "why it doesn't work" for free.

3rd Option wait for this

Hey guys, all my apology to revive an old thread. I'v just registered to try getting bias peak 5.2 for my good old G5. I cant find it on ebay atm, and the files on macintosh garden require a serial number that I dont obviously own. I know its a bit selfish to register to a forum only to lift software (but its a nice forum). Could someone be kind enough to send me a link to the files on your server ? I dont know how to contact the admin. AND to express my gratitude and support macos9lives, I could send some money via paypal.

Have a nice day !

> to try getting bias peak 5.2 for my good old G5.

This is what I found:

Replace only the application in your Peak Pro 5.2 folder with the attached.

Untested by me. Please advise if it works or not, and I will remove if it is non-functional.

I also searched for Peak 6 and Peak Express7 on G5, but did not find anything.
Help with this would be most appreciated!

Thx a lot macarone. I cant test it, because I dont even have the peak 5.x installer... I downloaded it anyway in case I find something. I'v contacted the admin to get a link so finger crossed.

In my research I found that Bias still sell license for peak xt 7.0 via a shopify page. The authorization server is still up and maintained by what's left of Bias. Its universal binary and it cost 149$ but its a purchase of 'as-is' without support. I'm thinking of buying it, but I'm afraid to be sol when Bias close down the server (I use a couple mac and I love jumping from one to another, and I dont like to be tethered to only one computer).

Anyway, have a nice day!

> I dont even have the peak 5.x installer

Your post led me to believe that you had it, and only needed the updater.

I did find a copy of:  PeakPro 5.2 trial.

If anybody still needs this, please contact me in a private message, as I cannot u/l it here.
