Title: Sil0680 support in OS9?
Post by: reeskm on January 27, 2016, 04:00:16 PM
Anybody know if there is any Sil0680 (UATA 133 chipset) support in Mac OS 9?

I'm guessing there probably isn't, but I have a PCI card kicking around and wondering if I should try it, or sell it on ebay/kijiji/forum.

Cheers!

Same question. Just bought an ACARD 6280 in-box on ebay and it turns out that in the bag was an ATA card with this chip. I got it for $10 including shipping so I can't be bothered to return it.

My plan for the 6280 was to experiment with Mac conversion. Oh well.

Worst that can happen is that nothing happens.

If a Mac comes across a card it can't understand, it will just leave it alone.
