I found very strange thing from MOTU MIDI Express PC, it's PC ISA-card has rack-I/O-port and Mac serial port, but not for connecting MOTU Mac devices, it is for connecting Mac :)
Idea might be that you can make PC as slave for Mac midi program. I only find badly scanned pdf manual that missing those pages about that. DOS connection-setup program started without card and shows little mac-icon as B-port :) Maybe someday I test with real setup.

MOTU continued to support multi-computer setups through the last of their serial port interfaces. i have two MTP-AV USBs with USB + serial ports on them, I can connect a computer to both devices and I get a 17th midi port that I can send data back and forth between the computers with. Clockworks on Mac actually shows it as "2nd Computer" and you can set up a completely different routing matrix between the second computer and your midi devices.
