Title: Any success with MIDISport 2x2 Driver?
Post by: ametts on December 26, 2016, 06:09:47 PM
M-Audio has a MacOS 9.x driver on their site for the MidiSport 2x2 USB MIDI interface, which I have.  It appears to be just an installer for OMS 2.3.8 -- I don't see anything that's specific to this particular device.

Is this all I need, in theory?  After installing OMS, I get a complaint that the MIDISport is unrecognized when I connect it.

OMS is required, but there is a separate driver used by M-Audio usb midi devices. I've had a 2x2 working for a while, also a 1x1 and 8x8, but the uno you have to be careful with. Only the first rev of an UNO will work.

I do see the link on M-Audio's site is just for OMS which is only part of it.

I've attached the driver you need here.

Awesome... thanks for the driver file, nanopico!
