Title: What PCI card to get for a Sawtooth G4 running 9.2.2 and 10.4.11
Post by: wnlewis on September 24, 2020, 08:03:05 PM
What PCI GPU should I look for, to put in my Sawtooth G4 running 9.2.2 and 10.4.4, while I fix my Radeon 9000 Pro Macintosh edition 128 Mb AGP card?

Thanks for any recommendations.

anything which is not a lot slower than your main AGP card for 2D, or you will hate moving windows around, it is terrible if you see a difference between monitors. 8500? 9200? should be fine. (voodoo 3.5+ might be a bit slow, also they are 12*16 max and have no OSX support.)
