Here is the list for Tascam FW-series Mac OS 9 drivers:
FW-1884:

FW-1804:
http://tascam.com/content/downloads/products/309/fw1804_os9_1_4_0.hqx
FW-1082:
Oldest drivers ever released is for OSX 10.2 :(
But only problem is how to open those hqx with Mac, Stuffit says that it's not compressed or decoded.
I only way uncompress/undecode it with Unar of Debian Linux, but of course it lost resource forks. I tested even download it in old way with Netscape 4 and unstuff it with Stuffit Expander 5.5 and 7.0.
Who can open those hqx:s?
-
stuff should be able to do that. is your download bigger than 0 kilobytes? ;)
-
It's 1.2 MB. If I look MD5 checksum of fw1884_os9_1_2_0.hqx on OS X it is 227afca63a8aed18bfcf64002085eb98. Four first letters are readable: ST65. Does that give any hint how to decode?

no idea. but try keka, then you know if it the files or your OSX what stinks. :)

Of course I tried with Mac OS 9 first. On OS X Keka decode it to zip file that uncompress to hqx and that decoded to zip. It was forever loop.
Program called The Unarchiver on OS X 10.6 can decode it and it seems that resource forks also decoded.
But I hope that somebody find solution with Mac OS 9 that another people that aren't as skill full can use Tascam also.

Thank you for that. Your package has installer. Drivers from Tascam web-site doesn't have, you have to install extensions right folders by your self.
Although Installer locating very long time (about 30 minutes) right folders with big hard drive. Anyway tested to work with FW-1884.

Greetings TeroyK!
im glad to be of help! maybe the good folks in charge around here can put it someplace more visible. It's dissappointing how so many companies dont have the mindfulness to keep their support files accessible!
take care :)
