Title: Quicksilver VGA only showing 640x480
Post by: kharm on March 12, 2021, 03:34:29 AM
Hi all,

In an effort to move my G4 tower away from my studio (I've pretty much given up on getting it quieter) I thought I'd ditch the ADC Studio Display & switch to VGA. I have a couple of VGA monitors but when I connect them to the VGA port & boot I can only see 640x480 resolution.

I've restarted, reset PRAM, power-cycled the monitors, had a look at extensions, searched here & elsewhere online ... yet to find anything.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated  8)

Ok, I restarted with MacOs extensions only and all the resolutions showed up.  ::) Sometimes it takes a while for me to remember how to trouble shoot!  ;D
