omg after all of that it says it requires mac os 10.0 or higher

the installer is VISE 8.2.1 "mindvision software 1991-2003"
Mon, november 10, 2003

perhaps we could use contents from this file to overwrite the tcworks 3.0 os9 release
and patch the differences?

ive attached the readme now..

yes this installer installs to /Library/Audio/Plugins
under /vst
i used serial "91201111" as told to use in the "delirium.nfo" (also attached)

seems to work great for osx...

the only reference to the sidechainer in the updates listed is:
"fixed an error where Cubase or SPARK would crash when you load the side chainer plugin, prioer to loading the Compressor/DeEsser"

is this perhaps a clue to how to make it work fine with 3.0? simply load the Compressor/DeEsser first? before using the side chainer..?

you said it was a bug... maybe this is the way around?

also it says: "If you are updating from NATIVE BUNDLE version 3.0, and you installed to any additional VST Plug-Ins folder, you must manually remove it from your system. "

Nope unfortunately this doesn't work either. Guess we have to keep searching for v3.1. In other words....BT help us out!  ;D

u can see here the key input dialog is lit up
yet this never happens for some reason?
it must be because there is no installer.. its a bad crack copy of it...
i searched the tc electronics site web archive and there was no press releases about a bug
or apology saying that it didnt work. it must just be a result of a bad crack of this app..
and requires some more indepth interaction with some sort of support files? perhaps instaled from installer ?
i dont know any other vsts that would be thi sintelligent to communicate between each other
'companion pair' of vsts there must be more files required for this interaction

Right. It's quite annoying. Some other info about the 'bug':

Do the OSX files work? If so....I'll have to start thinking about a dual boot system with Cubase SX.  ::)
Does anyone have a working copy of SX?

if you think that will be easier than the solution i suggested above (picture), then using OSX is of course one way.

somehow it is not very logic that waves offers M/S processing in many plug-ins – but does not have stereo key input system for their dynamics plug-ins ...

tbh better to skip cubase sx and go straight to cubase 4 from what i read cubase 4 is a big improvement to sx.

pretty sure bt wasnt using this tho he was saying he used the waves c1 or c4 or something?

I am going to try to make that work with the waves compressor. L to R sidechain. Basically as I understand it, it's all about flipping the left and right of 2 stereo tracks. That can also be achieved by exporting to four mono tracks and creating/importing 2 new stereo tracks. Haven't found the time to do the experiment.

yea, there are two ways,in protools or cubase you can switch the routing like in my picture, but of course, if you work with mono tracks / mono files in your sessions, you can also just switch the content of the tracks, or, even better, make copies of them.

Hey guys, did you figure this out?

Not entirely. C1 works in Cubase with some extensive additional routing. However we are still searching for a working OS9 copy of the TC Native Bundle 3.1 with the (working) sidechain plugin. So maybe you can help us out with that one? ::)

well, it is basically 6 alt-clicks at the cost of 2 stereo subgroups, and you are done. once you get the feeling for the routing you will easily remember how to do it by heart.

Could you write a step by step instruction? That would help a lot of people.
