Thank you so much for this post. I just purchased a TDM system (piece by piece not turnkey) on ebay. I am completely lost. I bought a SSD sync only to find out that it was discontinued and is obsolete. I've been working in home recording studios for years using cheap hardware and software. Even though TDM gear is cheap it was very professional(and expensive!) in its day. So naturally I was drawn in like a bug on a light. I grew up on os9 as a kid in the 90s. Very nostalgic feeling when I hear the chime starting up my g4. :)
